Geometria Situ reads the immediate surroundings of Hothouse in the Kampong Gelam neighbourhood as a speculative ecology of the everyday, and uses diagramming and the expansion of memory to build a theatre of memory. “Subterranean drainage pipes. Talking birds. Animated trees. Sonic reimaginations. The four artist-traceurs were invited to infuse new memory traces into this 10-part video game installation, sending players on unexpected adventures across time and space in Kampong Gelam.” Hothouse organised the project with formAxioms (Eva Castro and Federico Ruberto), INTER-MISSION (Teow Yue Han and Urich Lau) and Rafi Abdullah, commissioned by the National Arts Council, Singapore.

Traceur 3, with Rafi Abdullah, Ruby Jayaseelan and Safuan Johari as the other artist-traceurs. Made remotely from photogrammetry scans of the studio, the contribution imagines the hidden infrastructure feeding Hothouse: water pipes, drains and cables running behind its walls. Geometria Situ, Hothouse’un Kampong Gelam mahallesindeki yakın çevresini gündeliğin spekülatif bir ekolojisi olarak okuyor; diyagramlar ve belleğin genişletilmesi yoluyla bir bellek tiyatrosu kuruyor. “Yer altı drenaj boruları.
