In Sync, curated by Zehra Begüm Kışla, was part of OI_Focus #Turkey at Noise Media Art Vienna, Palais Festetics, 9th District, Vienna.
“Phases of Nix is an animation inspired by the chaotic rotations of Pluto’s moon, Nix. The video is accompanied by a ‘Nictian Calendar,’ resembling traditional lunar calendars but non-functional due to Nix’s erratic rotations. The animation uses two photographs of Nix, with movement generated by computer scripts incorporating randomness, mimicking an unstable pendulum.”

Zehra Begüm Kışla’nın küratörlüğündeki In Sync, Noise Media Art Viyana kapsamında OI_Focus #Turkey bölümünde, Viyana’nın 9. bölgesindeki Palais Festetics’te yer aldı.
“Phases of Nix, Plüton’un uydusu Nix’in kaotik dönüşlerinden esinlenen bir animasyon. Videoya, geleneksel ay takvimlerini andıran ama Nix’in düzensiz dönüşleri yüzünden işlemeyen bir ‘Niks Takvimi’ eşlik ediyor. Animasyon Nix’in iki fotoğrafını kullanıyor; hareket, rastlantısallık içeren bilgisayar betikleriyle üretiliyor ve dengesiz bir sarkacı taklit ediyor.”
