Digitally rendered portraits of various beings on transparency in lightbox. The work reconsiders stillness as a state accommodating processes of being and formation, containing potential for unpredictable change. Individual figures rendered at different moments address the digital image's materialistic, spatial, and technical relations through temporal discretization.

Rather than viewing stillness as passive or stagnant, the work reconsiders this state as one accommodating processes of being and formation within complex earthly relations, containing potential for unpredictable change.

Individual figures rendered at different moments suggest time as discrete units, formally communicating concepts of separatedness and discontinuity, core principles of digital image existence. The installation addresses the digital image’s materialistic, spatial, and technical relations through this temporal discretization.
