“Kerem Ozan Bayraktar’s work centers around systems and concerns the interconnecting components of these systems that push and pull, affect and force one another. He focuses on the impacts of unseen forces, change and transformation of the parts that are influenced by this gravity, function and relational behaviors of systems and their parts. At times, he makes use of an absurd language with unexpected elements, while at other times he employs scientific visualization with stark realistic imagery.”

“Repetition and series have a significant role in Bayraktar’s practice. He forms his work mostly in series, utilizing objects or things such as pills, sheep, air conditioners, cars, and planets and makes them move in a repetitive manner until it becomes absurd.”
