The artist investigates the relationship of exoplanet illustrations in science magazines with the concept of 'habitable zone' in astronomy in terms of science, colonialism and imagination. Stating that the illustrations obtained through optimistic interpretations of usually insufficient scientific data are quite arbitrary, the artist produces new visualizations of available planets by interpreting the relevant data with a neutral attitude. Contrary to popular science myths, the planet illustrations depict these planets by focusing on their features unfit for life.

Sanatçı, bilim dergilerindeki ötegezegen illüstrasyonlarının Astronomi'deki 'yaşanabilir bölge' kavramıyla ilişkisini bilimsellik, kolonyalizm ve hayal gücü doğrultusunda inceliyor. Genelde oldukça yetersiz olan bilimsel verilerin iyimser yorumlarıyla elde edilen illüstrasyonların oldukça keyfi olduğunu belirten sanatçı, nötr bir tavırla söz konusu verileri yeniden yorumlayarak mevcut gezegenlerin yeni görselleştirmelerini üretiyor. Popüler bilim mitlerinin aksine gezegen illüstrasyonları, bu gezegenleri yaşama elverişli olmayan özelliklerine odaklanarak betimliyor.
